What Is beard balm and how do I use it?

What is beard balm?

Beard balm is a leave-in holding conditioner with moisturizing properties. It also softens, styles facial hair and helps in reducing itching and inflammation in the skin underneath.

Why Our Beard Balm?

We have carefully handcrafted our beard balm in multiple great smelling scents. They are prudently formulated and tested before being released for sale to our esteemed beard family.

Our product has a shelf life span of up to 12 months thus prolonging freshness as well as longevity. You will love our beard balm, as it also pairs as a hair styling product. It’s a day-to-day product for styling and holding and softening the beard, giving it fresh smell all day.

The hardness of traditional balm was one of my pet hates when we first started creating our product, so like true craftsman, we fixed it!. We use heating, whipping, and freezing techniques when creating our beard balm. These steps are essential for us and are one of the many things that separate our product range from any competition. The process although complex and more time consuming, allows us to create a better product than traditional beard balm products on the market that are hard and difficult to use. It is slightly softer when scooping out of the tin but still retains all the holding properties of a traditional balm.

Beard Balm Ingredients

Organic Jojoba Oil: The organic jojoba oil closely mimics the human skin oil, has extra vitamins for the skin and great moisturizing properties.

Beeswax: This is common in most cosmetics and skincare products. Beeswax properties make it a perfect skin moisturizer, as well as a great holding ingredient to the beard balm. It is rich in vitamin A, and thus perfect for softening and hydrating the skin underneath. Beeswax also helps to clear acne due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Sweet Almond Oil: The main benefit of sweet almond oil is that it creates a bright, silky, and shiny look on your beard. It also balances the level of Sebum oil, this is the natural oil that your skin produces that produces beardruff.

Mango Butter: It is an impeccable ingredient for treating dry skin and soothing sensitive skin. This is because mango butter is rich in vitamins A, C, and E, as well as moisturizing essential fatty acids.

Mixed Essential Oils: These have been used since 1100's in medicines and aromatherapy. They help us produce great scents and allow the creation of products with great smell without any severe chemicals. Essentials oils have many health benefits to skin, hair, and overall general health.

Shea Butter: Naturally rich in Vitamins A, E, and F. Also, it offers minimal protection from the UV. It is perfect for conditioning and nurturing the skin and eases inflammation.

Vitamin E: has many benefits for hair and skin and protects cells from damage, moisturizes, nourishes hair follicles, and the skin underneath. It also acts as an antioxidant that prolongs the life of our balm naturally free from chemicals.

How To Use Beard Balm

Beard balm is an all-inclusive beard moisturizer, and conditioner also used for styling. It is great for men who are looking to control and maintain thicker beards.

Here are the steps to follow when applying the beard balm:

  1.  After combing your beard to remove any tangles, grab your container of beard balm to get started.

  2. Scoop out a small amount of balm and rub the balm between your palms. The balm will quickly melt and spread easily between your hands.

  3. Run your fingers through your beard hair, from your neck upwards and back through the beard hair a few times.

  4. Coat your moustache with a small amount of balm and style to your preference.

  5. Style your beard with your hands, boar bristle brush or beard comb.

  6. Beard balm will soften your beard over time but will hold it where it needs to be. Repeat the process 1 to 3 times a day and for best results apply beard oil before applying beard balm.
